You need to be patient & willing to sacrifice at least first 5-6 dosas that you make. If you’re a novice, don’t buy it; buy it only if you’re an expert & have at least 10 years of dosa cooking experience.
You might be wondering what’s the plus point? If you master the craft, this tawa will make you the most crispy & thin dosas you make in your life; additionally it gives you a satisfaction that you’re not cooking on Teflon. Maintenance is also crucial otherwise you will rust it out.

Very nice cast iron tawa.. even my first dosa came out very nicely.. but you have to pre season it before first use and after that it become non stick. I am really happy with my purchase. Just Go for it friends. A big thumbs up to vinod legacy cast iron tawa.
Done the seasoning as per the instructions given in vinod leaflets. After one day I prepared dosa and came out well.very good product
Comes pre seasoned an instruction manual for first use. Quality is very good, dosa came out properly without any hustle. However you might need a large burner as heat distribution is not that good, centre of dosa gets burnt
Before choosing this, I read about many brands and was confused, but I am glad I chose this. It acts like non stick only.

Material is with goo quality. But problem is.... the pan is like bulged in centre (or may b shape is like that, I am not sure). When ever I pour oil on pan, as it is bulged in centre all the oil is going to corners. Actually, it should be flat
Product is good. Good weight material. Dosa is crispy.
But... Heat is not properly available on all sides equally. Hence dosa sides are not proper cooked.
Handle is too hot to handle. Hence be careful

After following the seasoning instructions, the tava has become “non-stick”! I am so happy to use this cast iron tava on daily basis.

It is very very nice tawa. I make disas so easily. Does not stick and cooks healthy food because it is not made of non stick chemical material.
One suggestion, they should provide a wooden handle as it becomes too hit to hold.
Using this platform to convey to the company that the fabric handle they provide with the tawa is a complete waste. It's not easy to clean, I personally found the grip lacking. Can do away with it, or make it optional for buyers.
