Fun Food Craft Ideas for Easter 2023

Are you looking to try something other than Easter Egg Hunt this year? OR want to create memories with something different and fun? How about creating a food crafts table for Easter and let kids and adults alike have some creative fun?

Here are some easy and fun ideas to get you started for Easter 2023:

  1. Marshmallow Bunnies

This one is a cute and festive dessert that you can prepare with your kids. This one requires some regular and mini marshmallows. You can buy coloured sugar, and licorice to bring on some more fun.

Start by cutting quarters of a large marshmallow to use for the bunny’s ears. Using a circle-shaped marshmallow as the face of the bunny, attach the quarters on the top with frosting to make the bunny head. Now cut 2 marshmallows in halves to use them as the bunny’s hand and feet. Remember to apply frosting to secure each piece of the marshmallow to the main body of the bunny. You can use an edible marker to make eyes, nose, and mouth. Using licorice, you can dress up the bunny with a scarf.

Gather the kids around and ask them to make their own version of marshmallow bunnies. Let their imagination run free!

  1. Bunny Pancakes

If you're looking for a fun breakfast idea, try making Bunny Pancakes. All you need is your favourite pancake mix, whipped cream, strawberries, and chocolate chips.

To make Bunny Pancakes, start by making a stack of pancakes. Then, use whipped cream to create bunny ears and a bunny nose. Cut a strawberry in half and use it for the bunny's cheeks. Finally, use chocolate chips to create the bunny's eyes and mouth. This breakfast is sure to put a smile on everyone's face!

  1. Tie-Dye Eggs

We don’t mean literally! This is a simple food craft idea where you can colour eggs using whipped cream and some food colouring. This is a messy one but the kids would definitely love it!

Boil few eggs. While they are boiling, pour a generous amount of whipped cream into a separate bowl and pour different food colours into it. Mix it with a brush superficially. Once the eggs are boiled and cooled down, let the kids roll the eggs in the colourful mixture. Set aside the coloured eggs for some time. In a few minutes, they will be all coloured like outer space. They are yummy to taste as well.

Go on, try it!

  1. Carrot-Shaped Veggie Platter

If you're looking for a healthy snack option, consider making a carrot-shaped veggie platter. This is a fun and creative way to serve vegetables and is perfect for any Easter party.

To make a carrot-shaped veggie platter, start by arranging carrots in the shape of a carrot on a platter. Then, add other colourful vegetables, such as cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, and bell peppers, to create the foliage on top of the carrot. This platter is not only healthy, but it's also a great way to add some colour to your Easter table.

From Marshmallow Bunnies to Carrot-shaped veggie platters, there's something for everyone to enjoy. So why not get creative in the kitchen this Easter and have some fun with your food?
