• Ensure that you take off the whistle and lid to release any trapped air within the cooker body 
• Once ready for use cover the pressure cooker body with the lid twist to align the arrows on the lid and body handle
• Once aligned press down on the lid and turn clockwise until both lid and body handles align and lock in place
• Your cooker is now ready to use
